Mindy is a writer and a Media Communications Coordinator for the National Center for Farmworker Health. She works to advocate and promote health equity for the migrant population. She's passionate about cultural acceptance through art, finding new ways to empower women in vulnerable communities, and all the different ways we can make mac-n-cheese. She lives in Austin, TX with her boyfriend and their nephew, who happens to be a husky.
