MING THOMPSON

Ming Thompson is Principal and Co-Founder of Atelier Cho Thompson, a San Francisco-based design and concept firm specializing in architecture, interiors, and graphics. Ming was born and raised in rural Virginia, and studied architecture at Yale College and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

In addition to her work as an architect and graphic designer, Ming has worked in numerous museums and galleries around the world. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Yale-China Association and on the Alumnae Council of The Madeira School. Outside of work, she often sits in on architectural juries at UCBerkeley and California College of the Arts, and she spends lots of time exploring the culinary and arts landscape of the Bay Area.
