MINI TIMMARAJU
Senior Advisor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Mini Timmaraju has over 20 years of professional experience at the intersection of race and gender issues. She currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, appointed by. the Biden-Harris Administration.
Prior to this role she was an Executive Director on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team for Comcast NBCUniversal, based out of their corporate headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. In this role she oversaw corporate strategy and key initiatives supporting company wide goals on DEI. She also served on Comcast's External Affairs team as a liaison between the corporation and external stakeholders including diversity and advocacy organizations, political organizations, and public policy groups.
From 2015 to 2016, she served as Hillary for America’s National Women's Vote Director, leading the historic campaign’s planning and implementation of its strategy to maximize women's participation in the election.
Other leadership roles include serving as the National Director of the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans, Chief of Staff to Congressman Ami Bera M.D. (D, CA-7)) and various roles with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), including Director of PPFA’s Office of the President.
During her early career, Mini held a number of leadership positions in state and local political organizations in South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, New Hampshire, and her home state of Texas.
Mini received her Bachelor's degree from the University of California-Berkeley and completed her J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center where she was the recipient of the Joan Garfinkle Glantz award for outstanding work in the field of civil rights and the Class of 1999 Distinguished Service Award.
Her current volunteer service includes roles on the Boards of Directors of EMILYs List and the Indian American Impact Project.
She resides in Philadelphia with her husband Ken and her two sons Krishna and Satya.
