Hello, my name is Jennifer Grant and I am a pianist. I'm currently in school learning and strengthening my musicianship. I'm in the market to gig solo or play with other musicians. My passions include composing and performing music on the piano, deepening my faith, and meeting new people. I thirst for knowledge and crave kinship of other musicians to challenge my understanding and open my eyes to new possibilities. For me, music is my life blood. I believe that music is the bridge between the physical and emotional/spiritual parts of human beings.

Music is somehow this nebulous arrangement of sounds but at the same time this tangible translation of humanity itself. I feel so lucky to be so saturated with melodies and harmonies.

If I could accomplish anything, musically, it would be to perform my own compositions with the Cleveland Orchestra. The world is this beautiful untapped expanse of sounds & silence; dissonance & harmony; imagination & reality. Music transcends boundaries and connects people in a way that is quite unmatched. Music has the ability to reach inside the soul and bare the intermost desires and impulses... as musicians, we must tread cautiously to illuminate and draw out the best in people.

The way I see it is that people each have a story to share... I desire to listen and view the world through their eyes. To be written into their story, even for just a sentence, just a note, would mean that my fingerprints are somehow on the pages of their existence. What a magnificent gift that would be-to touch somehow else's life positively?
