Brigitte Vivante Gleason

Upper State New York

I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia. My family moved to London, England 6 months later, where we lived until I was four years old. From four to 23 years old I lived in Norfolk, Virginia, a small harbor city with a unique mix of old Virginia families and transient populations such as naval personel and university students.

My playground was Old Dominion University library where my mother worked. I grew to love books and developed an ecclectic set of interests. I also spent much time at the Naro Expanded Cinema, an arthouse theater featuring foreign films, Independent film, and documentaries. I started writing and drawing at age 6.

I spent 10 years micro-farming in Tennessee and 5 years farming in Upper State New York. I was a journalist for The Leaf-Chronicle of Clarksville, Tn. with a few front page articles and a column with a small following. I committed my life to Jesus in 2006, the best decision of my life. Christ has miraculously healed me of several diseases and I testify to the healing power of God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Him. God Bless you!
