Hi, my name is Mohamad Iqbal Akhirudin, but people usually call me Iqbal.

I am a web developer, writer, and planner from Indonesia currently living in Kyoto, Japan. My interests range from swimming to martial arts. I am also interested in web development, coffee, and reading.

I am a lifelong learner, a husband, a father, and a certified development planner.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia (2009) and a Master’s degree in Development Policy from Hiroshima University, Japan (2014). Since October 2025, I have been pursuing my PhD studies at the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University.
