Mira Mehdi

I am a very diligent and dedicated student at Burlington High School in Massachusetts. I am currently a junior and am working extremely hard this school year. I am motivated to get into a good college and will be really focused on that next year. I hope to major in a field that has to do with either technology or forensics. I am really fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the Student Technology Integration class or, as some might know it as, Help Desk. We work to find the best approach to addressing or solving a problem for students and teachers. I create short, but to the point, modules to provide teachers and students with whatever information is needed. I work my best to research the most efficient ways to apply the iPads in our way of learning, since BHS is a 1:1 iPad school. I am also a part of the BHS TedEd club where I will be presenting my own Ted Talk sometime in June. At TedEd we share our ideas with other innovating people and just talk about what we are passionate about. My talk will be on the science behind positive and negative thinking. I also take part in many other after-school clubs, as well as volunteer, outside of school.
