Miracle Okoro

Miracle Okoro is an international lawyer with five years of experience working on high-level consultations and projects funded by development partners such as the German Development Agency (GIZ), featuring development partners, government ministries, agencies and departments, and the private sector. She is a proficient writer and rapporteur and has provided technical support for organisations like GIZ on Nigeria's trade policy, competitiveness, women's economic empowerment, etc.
She was selected to represent Nigeria in 2019 as an emerging young leader under President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) West Africa. She is also an alumna of the Trade Law Centre (TRALAC) SheGovernsTrade (SGT) Development Programme and the Global Trade Academy of Georgetown University.
She obtained an LLM in International Trade and Investment Law at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Her interests are at the intersections of international trade and investment, sustainable finance, gender, human rights, and development. She is committed to the vision of building the Africa we want.
