Hello,

let me introduce myself briefly. i'm 48 years old - sounds quite old - but don't feel like this. I've got two children - a son and a daughter - 23 and 22 years old. Both are students in Dresden. I'm very proud of them. They are my life in a certain way.

I've been teaching English for many years, Ethics for about ten years now. Yes, and there was a time when I taught Russian.

Like most teachers I love my subjects, being together with young people at our school because the majority is kind and polite. Our profession is quite challenging. You can never stop learning you always have to be up-to-date. And we humans need challenges - so do I.

In my leisure time I prefer reading newspapers, magazines, but when there is more time - books, I love going to the theatre and cinema, watching a good DVD, going for a walk and sometimes I work in my / our really big garden. I have to admit my mum does a lot of gardening, I would have to employ a gardener without her.

As I mentioned I'm a real beginner concerning new media. So it's a kind of adventure I'm starting with this online course. Let's see where it will take me.

One advice for all people living with a partner (married or not) - tell him / her how much you love him / her, ask him / her the questions you have always wanted to ask, care about your health. Life can change very quickly - mine has. I'm a so-called widow - what a cruel word.
