Manuel A. Miranda

"Manuel A. Miranda has practiced law since 1987 but brings to our firm well over 34 years of immigration and refugee experience. He also brings deep business law and litigation experience, as well as public policy and legislative knowledge. His focus in Maryland, however, will be exclusively on immigration law.

Mr. Miranda has previously served as Counsel to the U.S. Senate Majority Leader and as Senior Counsel to the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, where he advised Senate leadership on matters including immigration reform. Mr. Miranda was the most senior Hispanic among Senate leadership aides. He has also been a Visiting Legal Fellow and Senior Immigration Counsel at leading Washington think tanks and has published 35 columns for the Wall Street Journal. He has lectured on immigration and other topics at over 40 law schools. "
