Hello! My name is Miranda and I'm a 20-something married mother of many fur-children, and Auntie to a multitude of adorable little children I love to borrow. My husband and I have been together for what seems like an eternity and we've loved every minute of it. We spend most of our time driving each other crazy, but I'm so very thankful that I have an amazing man to share my life with.
Most would define me as a crazy, obsessive, neurotic baker with a couponing problem. That’s the short version, and what lead me to starting my own blog. Over the last few years I've developed two very different hobbies (passions).
First came baking, it all started because my husband was constantly asking me to make something for him to take to work and share with his team. I was tired of the same old boring cupcakes and tub icing. So, I went to Pinterest for some inspiration and the rest is history. The first time I made buttercream icing from scratch, the feedback was overwhelming. His co-workers LOVED them. I made roughly 20 cupcakes, there was 10 men on the team, and they didn't last more than 10 minutes. From that point on, I had the courage to try more and more and develop my recipes even more.
Then I discovered couponing. In the beginning, I was just trying to save some money, because let's be honest, who doesn't want to save some money? After seeing receipt after receipt showing the savings just by just looking at the sale ads, using coupons from the Sunday paper, and making a list, I wanted more, but I didn't want to be the crazy extreme couponer you see on TV that has a stockpile of items they're never going to use before they expire. I've been able to develop a system, and conveniently, a stockpile of goods that I will share with you through this blog.
Thank you for stopping by, and joining me in this crazy adventure I’ve started and I hope you keep coming back!
