Empower, Encourage and Respect. That is what Miranda Sullivan loves to instill in families lives after her whole life changed because of an experience she had with two kids she was a nanny for. “The kids were arguing all the time, griping and making all our lives miserable and I tried all the new things out there. None of it really felt right nor did do what I felt it should.” Miranda through her hands up and decided to make some changes so she could help these kids live a happier, more productive life. She went to the book store and picked up a copy of Positive Discipline written by Jane Nelson and every technique she learned through reading the books, made her realize how respectful it was and how it could make a difference in MANY kids lives and decided to get certified. She learned even more in the workshops and now offers both in home consultations/observations and classes to allow everyone to learn these wonderful techniques. She started her company Respectful Parenting Solutions using the Positive Discipline workshops/books along with her intuitive nature and what she has learned in her observations of families.

There is a lot of common sense information in the books. You read it and think, “why didn’t I think of that? Of course that would work better and it makes sense!” Reading just the books helps, but you get so much more when you get into the workshops and finding your own intuitive nature. It makes it all come together, understand what kind of shoes your child is in and you learn more applicable techniques.
