I am a professional dancer increasing my modern dance technique repertoire. I prefer grounded, fluid movement, which feels like one move bleeds into the next. I play around with my dynamics; sometimes having soft/loose movement and contrast that with hard/sharp movement. I am a petite dancer, but I eat up the space and create expansive movement.
Teaching Mission:
An old saying that I have heard from my Dad goes, “Imitation is the highest form of flattery”. In the context of my teaching philosophy, it is my desire to honor my teachers and all that they have taught me by pouring out the best of what I have learned from them to help others achieve their goals.
