Through my eyes, success is not determined by fortune, fame, or title, but rather by the number of lives one impacts—and to what extreme. I am a writer, and strive to make an impact through words. After reading Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide written by journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, I promised myself that I would make a lasting mark on ending women oppression.

I am now a community ambassador for the Half the Sky movement, and plan to spend my life as a traveling novelist, speechwriter, and journalist, exploiting not only the world’s injustices, but also presenting concrete resolutions for change. My focus: sexual discrimination. I have created this website to document the impact a community can make when words and actions work hand in hand. I am a woman, and I can make a difference.
