Miranda Moore

Miranda Moore is currently a graduate student at the Missouri School of Journalism. Prior to attending journalism school, Miranda worked for over three years as a paralegal in the U.S. government's office for prosecuting human rights violators, war criminals, genocidaires, human smugglers, and other international criminals. Prior to that, Miranda was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda, where she lived in a post-conflict, hardship environment for nearly three years and worked alongside those displaced by wars in northern Uganda and South Sudan.

After Miranda graduates from j-school in May 2018, she aspires to work as an internationally-based journalist focusing on the intersection of conflict, global security, foreign policy, and human rights.
