Hi there. I’m Miranda. I develop and produce innovation experiences and events for media brands, to be shared with the world.I am deeply passionate about digital communities.

Currently co-located in Washington D.C. and Milwaukee, Wi., I was most recently a creative director at National Geographic Society. Formerly, I was the executive director of the award-winning Northwestern U. Knight Lab and the digital design director at The Boston Globe. In 2011, I led the responsive design approach to BostonGlobe.com, a project that was the recipient of numerous awards and accolades.

I am a Society for News Design board member and SNDMakes program director the Society’s rapid prototyping and ideation event. I consult with numerous media brands and professional organizations including Online News Association, Hacks / Hackers, International Center for Journalists, among others.
