They taught us in fifth grade to start off any written assignment (e.g. this bio) with a jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, skin-tingling "attention grabber"....

I got nothin'

Instead I'll start with the classic:

HI! My name is Miranda Rachel Sparkes. (Introduction=done.)

Quite honestly, I'm not quite sure how to kick start this bio. I guess I could let you know that all my life I wished that I had a couple really fancy middle names. How downright darn elegant would that be?I just have the one... Can't have it all I guess

Anyway, aside from my unfortunately moderate-length name, I lead a pretty great life. But then again, I've learned that it's all about your outlook on things.... We all need to "stop and smell the roses" per say, but that's kind of beside the point.

Back to random facts about me:

I'm currently a nursing student studying in the sunshine state.. My favorite color is bright yellow. My favorite chocolate is KitKat, and if the only animal left on the universe were dogs, I'd probably be the happiest person on the face of the world. (Sorry Cat Lovers...)I have a Mom whose role model is Sharpay Evans (Pink. Sparkles. Always.) And you could typically find my dad standing by the grill in a ball cap and socks and sandals. My sister is the adventurer and my lil' brother is the protector. But before I go any farther, I have to let you know the most important fact about me.

I love Jesus.

I'm a God-lovin', Jesus-servin' Christian. My motto is "Live Life On Purpose." (A close second is "Never Wear Plaid on Plaid.")

Jesus Christ has given my life so much purpose, and I hope that amidst my blogs and bad jokes, you'll see a bit of who Jesus Christ really is to me. He is changing me.

"But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain." 1Corinthians 15:10

So, how could you sum up Miranda Ray in one word..?

HmmI'd hope it would be.. "Real," "Down-to-earth," "True-to-herself." "Honest.""Genuine."

But I guess you'll be the judge of that.
