David Miraut

Móstoles (Madrid)

He is a research member in the School of Computer Science Engineering at the Rey Juan Carlos University. Previously, he worked as engineer in several Research Centers like ESRF and CNES. He has a PhD in Computer Science from Rey Juan Carlos University, and specializes in computational photography and high-performance computing.

His current projects include inverse rendering and data-driven computational fluid dynamics.

David has previously lived in France and has several years of experience in higher education. He is an advocate of open-source software for science and open educational resources. He is also interested in education technology, social learning and the recent spread of massively open online courses.
