Mireille Zappulla
Since 1993, Naples, Florida, resident Mireille Zappulla has enjoyed a number of positions that have afforded her increasing responsibility in the financial sector. Most recently, in 2004, she joined Wachovia Bank, a division of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., where she functions as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager. In this role, Mireille Zappulla’s responsibilities are many, and she manages a portfolio of customers with annual sales averaging between $15 and $750 million. She provides products from capital management, capital markets, treasury services, and other business lines. In addition, Mireille Zappulla offers a full line of finance and credit products and ensures that the product features fall within the bank’s risk management and credit guidelines. She is also responsible for planning sales processes and strategies to maximize the potential existing accounts at the bank, and for harvesting new business prospects. To that end, Mireille Zappulla networks with local contacts and referral sources to find new opportunities for the bank. Customers look to Mireille Zappulla to help them solve problems or resolve their issues and concerns, responsibilities she carries out swiftly and successfully. She ensures that expense management, sales, production profitability, and balance sheet growth objectives are met or exceeded. Mireille Zappulla also takes part in various local activities and community organizations, such as the Economic Development Council of Collier County and the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Collier, in order to forge local relationships and develop and maintain referral sources. Mireille Zappulla brought a wealth of experience to Wachovia Bank, arriving well prepared to take on the myriad duties assigned to her. As a Consultant for the Law Offices of Derek Elliot & Associates in Paris, France, she previously oversaw the production of documents for clients who were taking part in disputes before the International Chamber of Commerce. She authored two studies, The Legal Aspects of Contracts in the People's Republic of China and International Arbitration, and co-authored a prospectus for investors in a Bombay, India, offshore development project. Mireille Zappulla also consulted for Shimizu Construction Co., where she worked on a study titled The European Construction Industry: An International Perspective for 1992.
