Dr. Galindo's professional career began over 20 years ago as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in a convalescent hospital and in-home hospice care. After studying psychology, she worked in psychiatric hospitals and outpatient counseling agencies, the latter of which provided specialization in the assessment and treatment of child sexual abuse. Dr. Galindo also served as case manager at Olive Crest Treatment Center in Santa Ana, providing day to day care for neglected and abused children between the ages of 4 to 12. She subsequently held a therapeutic position at a school for severely emotionally disturbed children. Dr. Miriam Galindo maintains membership in the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
