Coming from Eritrea to Europe is a lively memory to me. Crossing borders of countries as well as in becoming a more independant person and later entrepreneur. Once in The Netherlands I truly missed Eritrea so much that I decided to bring it back in doing what I love most: cooking and making people happy and really enjoying their meals and each other's company.
The Eritrean kitchen is a natural and very authentic one. And being colonized by Italy before, many of the recipe's of the Italian kitchen have been inspired by the traditional Eritrean kitchen originally. Even the coffee is not an invention of the Italians themselves.
I bet I make a better coffee than many barristas do! Roasting my own beans and making coffee by hand, it's the best coffee you will ever taste!
But my specialty is the food. Always ready to give it much personal attention and creating the best quality, enhancing old family recipes as well as experimenting.
