Miriam Quiros-Laso

Hello, my name is Miriam Quiros-Laso. After 6 year of giving up books...with a Masters in Library Science, I have decided to go "back to school" and earn a degree in Public Adminstration. I am returning as a Senior since most of my prior credits were considered for this degree. I work Full time both at work and home. I work for a small neighborhood branch library in Miami-Dade County as a Librarian and have 3 children to care for at home; 13 to 6; my youngest being Autistic.

Expectations for the Course: to gain additional information to be able to perform my job more efficiently.

Research: Things that are of interest to me whether it be professional or for leisure.

In 5 years, I would like to see myself in an adminstrative position, where I will be able to better help those in need. I want to make a difference.
