Miriam Saltmarshe

Miriam is passionate about food and health. As a qualified (BSc) and experienced nutritional therapist she knows that improving the quality of an individual's nutrition makes a profound difference to their health and consequently their life.

Today Miriam uses her knowledge of nutrition to transform people's lives.

When working with her patients she uses scientific knowledge and research-based evidence as the foundation of her practice. Together she combines this with a holistic and naturopathic understanding of health and food. This results in the development of a programme that effectively targets the goals and underlying health concerns of the patient, incorporates the medicinal benefits of food while also ensuring meals are tasty and enjoyable.

Miriam uses nutrition as a therapeutic tool to deal with a wide range of conditions including hormonal imbalance (adrenal fatigue and endometriosis), digestive disorders and immune-related dysfunction.

She is also a trained 'Metabolic Balance' coach. This is a highly effective weight loss system that has also proven to be hugely beneficial to those with diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other inflammatory-based conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Miriam worked for many years in London, based at the prestigious Hale Clinic. She was also consultant nutritionist for London Fashion Week at The Model Sanctuary. A project devised and led by top model Erin O'Connor. She has contributed to articles in Cosmopolitan, Heat and Time Out magazines.
