I was born and raised in Bulgaria, where I spent much of my youth playing soccer, swimming, and climbing mountains. Those early experiences taught me endurance, focus, and the importance of staying composed under pressure—lessons that have followed me throughout my life. I came to the United States nearly three decades ago to continue my education and build a career that combined discipline with purpose.

I studied Accounting and Finance at Drexel University, later earning a Master’s in Taxation, an MBA from Duke, and completing Wharton’s Advanced Management Program. I’ve worked in healthcare for most of my career—at PwC, Essent Healthcare, IASIS, and Steward Healthcare—leading finance, M&A, and operational turnarounds in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East.

Today, I run Boyanov Consult, advising healthcare organizations through change and growth. I believe success isn’t about titles or numbers—it’s about turning challenges into opportunities and leading with integrity, courage, and inclusion.
