Miryam Pedrero is The Director and Executive producer of El Sótano.doc.
An audiovisual production company based in Spain focus in documentary, TV contents and transmedia storytelling. El Sótano is present in International and National film festivals and markets since 2008. Miryam was born in 1973 in Madrid where she graduated in journalism. In 1998 she starts her journalist career in Informativos Telecinco. Highlights her works in the Kosovo war, Guinea Conakry, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi. Through these experiences she specialized in human rights and social information. In 2008, after studying documentary with Belquis Vega (professor from San Antonio de Baños, Cuba) founded El Sótano.doc. She leads the executive production and contents department for tv, web-transmedia and documentary films. Since 2011 she teachs documentary at Villanueva University in Madrid.
