I was born in Daugavpils - small "Russian" town in Latvia. When I was 5, I let music in my life. I began to play violin and piano at local music school. In 7 years I changed my instrument to double bass and began my education at Daugavpils Music College. At fourteen, I was playing bass guitar in local bands and in string orchestras as double bass player. At my 15 I played the opening act with ska-pank band "Deti Granta" for Russian band "Spleen".
When I was 16, I already played in different bands and orchestras in different styles of music: classic, ska-punk, jazz, experimental, hard rock, rockabilly, traditional music and others.
Graduated from Music College I began my studies in Daugavpils University as teacher of music. During these 4 years I continued playing with different bands and collectives in Latvia and Lithuania. Also I was singing in two choirs and was participating international contests all over the Europe with them.
During university years I was working like a teacher of music in primary and secondary schools and had a practice of private teaching.
When I was 25, I moved to Sicily and learned bass guitar with Master Alberto Fidone. Also participated there in two music projects.
When I returned to Latvia I played in Latgalian rock band Dabasu Durovys, and created new electronical music project Party at the Sun.
At this moment I live in West Ham, London, UK and I play with Bangladeshi musician Ershad Alamgir, in church Chapel of Praise and with Russian cover band Cranberry Lane. I frequently participate in London Jam Sessions and searching for well-established bands. I am always ready to participate in interesting and serious projects. Also I am session musician in projects, where bass guitarist or keyboard player is needed.
During my year of being in London I was playing as well with different musicians and bands - The Blood, The 286 and others. As well, I work like a private teacher, and music teacher in two Russian schools in London.
In fact I can play different styles of music - rock, punk, traditional, jazz, blues, funk, experimental, classical and others. I can play by notes, by chords, by ear, so there are no problems - thanks to my education.
I am really happy to teach children and adults to play piano, guitar and bass guitar.
I know 4 languages - Russian, Latvian, English and Italian, so I'll be comfortable to play with international bands.
