Michelle Michael

I am a Sri Lankan, currently pursuing a degree in mass communications at a south eastern university in the United States. I worked in the media industry of Sri Lanka for over a year before coming here and had the privilege of working with a senior media personnel, who mentored my growth as a writer. Being praised (and also criticized) as a Jack of all trade, I never explored my ability to write before my corporate exposure, but have been writing ever since.

My love for public speaking has also opened many doors for me in the past, and I plan to continue it in the future. I have co-authored a few academic articles on educational publications and am working on more.

I welcome challenges, as they only make me a stronger person. I also believe in smiling, "a curve which sets everything straight."

My trust in God has eased the paths I've traveled on, despite the hardships it held. Having lived a little over two decades on earth, I look back, only to realize that I could not have come this far without the help of God Almighty. I am eager to see all that life holds in the times to come.
