Misiona Patane

A skilled businessman and project manager, Misiona Patane currently serves as the Business Development Manager and U.S. Sales Manager for Pure Pasifika, an agricultural import and export firm with offices in the United States, New Zealand, and Samoa. Patane crafts long- and short-term international marketing plans, eliminates redundancies, and improves products and processes. Misiona Patane works to create a climate of "continuous improvement" through his dynamic and innovative management style.

Before he joined Pure Pasifika, Misiona Patane spent more than a decade working in the construction, finance, and software industries. He has successfully launched ecommerce products for Fortune 500 firms while acting as a liaison between executive level customers and development teams. He has created queries and reports in a variety of database structures, customized high-end software packages to suit the diverse needs of a broad client base, and carefully managed a wide variety of projects to ensure on-time, under-budget completion.

Misiona Patane lives and works in Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After completing his undergraduate coursework, he returned to Brigham Young for his MBA in Information Management and International Relations. In his spare time, Misiona Patane enjoys following sports and politics. He has special insight into current affairs due to a year he spent as a Congressional Intern in Washington, D.C. While working in congress, Patane helped draft service level agreements, communication plans and long-range management strategies for his employer.

Misiona Patane retains a strong interest in Samoa and its people. He maintains professional ties with the Pacific nation through his career at Pure Pasifika. He also makes frequent donations to Samoan charities, especially those that assist children and elderly people living in poverty.
