I'm not your mother, and I'm not your keeper. I'm just a gal in her mid-twenties who was once you.
What inspired me to create this blog was observing a younger co-worker of mine, and how much it surprised me to know that many of the girls I've encountered in life - patients, clients, friends and their younger sisters, etc - have similar traits and hardships:
- Friends you've had since pre-K suddenly turning on you
- Love, sex, and relationships
- The terrifying hierarchy jungle known as high school
- Real-life Mean Girls
- Bullies and methods of bullying
- Relationships with parents
I thought MY adolescence and young adulthood were hard, but you guys are in a whole other ball field!
Just as mine did, your mother has a plethora of advice and wisdom to give you, but let's get real - your mother is the LAST person you want to go to for such trials and tribulations (especially boys and sex - awkwardddd).
This is where me and my blog come in, and I hope we can help you in some way.
