I have been a preschool teacher for the past 10 years. I love what i do and i love working with young children. As the years went on and I had my own children (Andrew (8) Paige (5)) I have grown to love planning and creating party decor for their birthdays! I started posting my creations and friends and family started requesting things and refereed their friends and i started a Facebook business page called Glorious Creations. I create everything from invitations, banners, labels, centerpieces, flyers, business logos and cards to wreaths, tutus, bows, party favors and so much more! Working at Christ the King has given me many opportunities to showcase my event planning and coordinating skills. When i started my job as a preschool teacher i soon took over the organizing and planning of the school wide Harvest festival as well as the Easter Extravaganza. I soon learned that i LOVED doing these events! I started a craft fair in 2012 called Crafty & Chic Boutique. this was a way to help other small business vendors like myself have an opportunity to showcase their talents as well as raise money for great organizations. Since learning about my love for event planning, creating party decor and invitations, and other crafty things i have decided to pursue a bachelors degree in business administration. I am nervous about going back to school but i know this is the only way to start doing something else I really love. Once i have completed school and have a few years of experience under my belt I plan to open my own business. I want to open a party/playroom for children. By doing so i can combine my love for working with children, my love for creating party decor and my love for planning and organizing events all in one! I know it wont be an easy journey or a fast one but I am ready to start moving in that direction! I know God has a great plan for me and i think he has been lining things up all along! :)
