Frank Allen

I am one of the few vocal conservatives that advocate for social justice and peace building. I am an ordained social worker that preaches a little. My family and I live and work in the inner city. We do this because our Christian faith demands this of us. Especially since my vocational ministry/calling is to live in community with and serve the poor.

As a political conservative, I sincerely believe that our conservative values of thrift, industry, charitable choice, faith and individual responsibility, ironically, allow us to accept our individual sacred responsibility to engage in "biblical liberality". I believe that conservatism allows us to have more resources to share with those who are struggling. Philosophically, I also believe that a strong defense is the best catalyst for peace.

As an Evangelical Christian form the Holiness-Pentecostal tradition, I am orthodox (lower-case "o") in my theology, traditional in my values and ecumenical in my scope.
