Miss Jenny's Pickles

We are located in Kernersville, NC Located in Kernersville, North Carolina, our Mompreneur company, produces four variations of distinctive pickles: All-Natural Signature Salt & Pepper, All-Natural Traditional Bread & Butter, All-Natural Jalapeno Salt & Pepper and our Award Winning All-Natural Habanero Bread & Butter. Our backgrounds are as unique as our Signature Salt & Pepper pickles. Ashlee is the city girl and Jenny is the country girl. We have been partners for years in the financial industry but, it wasn't until we lost our jobs with the economy that we knew we wanted to start a business venture together and of all things a pickle company! :-) Over the past year we have learned more about the cucumber industry than is humanly possible. We have been to Dunn, Faison, Pinnacle, Belews Creek and Mt. Olive, NC to learn all we can about the cucumber business. Along the way we met the most interesting and kind individuals who helped us become "The Pickle Ladies"! Our true calling since our first kitchen was in Miss Jenny's church, The Fountain of Life. Today our kitchen is located in the Winston Lake YMCA. During our adventure we even graduated 'pickle school' through NC State University, where we learned everything we needed to know about canning and preserving our pickles. Given our years of financial knowledge and background we felt like we had a head start in forming a company that has, so far, been rewarding, educational and just plain fun! Thus, Miss Jenny’s™ Pickles was born. One of our favorite mottos is "Mount Olive started during the Great Depression & Miss Jenny’s™ started in the Great Recession". Our unique pickles come from family recipes passed down from Miss Jenny's grandmother, MawMaw. We are passionate about our pickles, a healthy product that is hand-picked, hand-cut and hand-packed by our family for yours. Our pickles may be gourmet, but as you can see we come from very humble beginnings. Some of our cucumbers are grown in Miss Jenny's Belews Creek, North Carolina cucumber field, next door to MawMaw's home place. Please enjoy our Modern Day Pickle with an Old Fashioned Taste!
