Missy Clark
Owner and Trainer in Wellington, FL, US
While growing up in East Aurora, New York, Missy Clark took up horseback riding under the guidance of her mother, the regionally renowned equestrian Doris Clark. As she progressed in the sport, she subsequently trained as a working student with Chuck Graham. Missy Clark also had early affiliations with equestrian sports leaders such as Rodney Jenkins and Jimmy Lee.
Missy Clark ultimately began teaching equestrian students of her own. Alongside her husband John Brennan, she owns and operates the training organization North Run in Warren, Vermont. North Run has produced a number of top riders who have won a total of 65 national championship or reserve titles.
When she isn’t busy with North Run, Missy Clark engages in equestrian-related activities with a number of industry organizations. She sits on the board of directors of the horseback rider safety and injury rehabilitation nonprofit Kevin Babington Foundation. She also established the Dandelion Fund, a canine medical assistance organization with ties to Danny and Ron’s Rescue.
