Sarah (Shinyoung) Yoon

If I had to describe myself with one word it would probably have to be... "eclectic"! I believe that everything carries beauty. I have a fondness for Barry McGee's work, all genres of music, and old literature. I was a drama nerd as a child and was president of Art Club and Hip Hop Club in high school. I snowboard, am trying to teach myself to play the guitar, and independently studied the violin once upon a time and made my way through Honors Orchestra in high school and a chamber orchestra. I'm from the Boston area, but divide my time between Boston, Amherst, and Montgomery.
I am an Isenberg School of Management student studying Marketing with a double major in mathematics (actuarial concentration) at UMass Amherst, and will be completing my Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Spring of 2016.
I am involved in the UMass Fossil Fuel Divestment Campaign and the Isenberg Marketing Club.
I’m an experienced tutor in a wide range of subjects, spanning from the SATs/ACTs to conversational English to graduate students. I also have knowledge of the Java programming language.
