Mistey Lundy is a graduate of Full Sail University, where she received a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment. Mistey takes real life experiences, her own as well as others, intertwines them with her creative imagination, and writes captivating stories that have philosophical undertones.
Mistey’s first book, “The Ring,” a psychological thriller, is published through Smashwords Publishing. Currently, she is writing another book, titled “Poor.” This book describes different ways to stay poor as they relate to missed opportunities.
She has an Adult Contemporary Album, titled “Real Thing Baby,” that displays her gift to write. Not only did she write the 10 songs, but she also performed and co-produced each of them. Mistey wrote the treatment for a music video, “Spend More Time,” which can be viewed on iTunes.
Future works include “Granddaddy’s Car,” a short story that she is extending into a children’s book. This story is about a granddaddy’s magical car that has a mind of it’s own. Mistey is also working on “Camp Kujichagulia,” a feature film about eight graduating seniors who have been chosen to complete a seven-day stay at “Camp Kujichagulia”. Upon completion they each will receive a scholarship to the college of their choice. They will face opposing forces, with “Self,” being their hardest challenge.Mistey is also writing “The Blunt Truth,” about a man named Pete whose actions are contrary to how he says he feels about Windy.
