Mitch Kowalski
Mitch Kowalski is an innovative thinker, lawyer, writer and entrepreneur. He is the author of "Avoiding Extinction: Reimagining Legal Services for the 21st Century" published by the American Bar Association. He speaks on innovation in legal servcies at conferences and law firms and he also teaches this subject at University of Ottawa Law School and at Western University Law School. He holds a LL.B. and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario as well as a LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School. For much of his 20-year legal career, he practiced law with the Toronto office of Baker & McKenzie, before moving to Aylesworth LLP which later became Dickinson Wright LLP. He also served as in-house counsel for the City of Toronto and had a business role with First Canadian Title. Mitch maintains a boutique law practice, owns and operates Toronto Writers’ Centre and writes/speaks on a variety of legal topics.
