Mitch Panchula
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Mitch Panchula has had a multifaceted career in real estate spanning decades. The son of a prominent real estate broker and developer on Michigan’s East side, Mitch was put to work as soon as he could swing a hammer. His father and mentor taught him the fundamentals of building a great house, the art of negotiating and the importance
of integrity.
At sixteen, Mitch started working weekend open houses for his father, eventually earning his way to more responsibility taking a position of project manager. After many years in the family business, Mitch decided to leave, test the waters and broaden his work experience. He went to work managing a large sales force for a large residential construction company in Metro Detroit. However, His main role was to ensure that client expectations and the finished product always exceeded expectations. Building 10-15 high end homes a year in the $400,000 to $1 million dollar range meant expectations were high. In that role, Mitch learned how to negotiate with venders and contractors, set and track budgets and how to create as stressless an experience for clients as possible.
When the housing market took a tumble in 2008,Mitch moved his family to Grand Rapids and using his business savvy started a biomass fuel manufacturing facility. The biomass company did well but Mitch’s heart was still in real estate. So he made the decision to return to what he loved. Each office independently owned and operated.
Mitch is known throughout the industry for his work ethic, his ability to negotiate the toughest deals and for his high standards. When you ask any of Mitch’s clients what they liked most about working with him you hear things like, “passionate”, “always available”, “flexible”, “makes things happen” and “didn’t have to worry about a thing.”
Mitch is a native Detroiter who earned a sports scholarship to attend college. He attended Central Michigan University as a NCAA division 1 football player. He and his wife Tonya have three young boys. Mitch loves being a father and when he isn’t working you can usually find him out on a family adventure, gardening, at a cub scout meeting or reading a book. Mitch and his family are thrilled to call Grand Rapids home and are eager to give back to this great community that welcomed them six years ago.
