I claim to have been ‘Found in Translation’–what I thought in High School was a clever little play on the title of that movie with those famous people in it. Cliche perhaps, but I do see myself in so many different places and things and I see them in me. I’m a book-loving, wacky-food-indulging, magazine and newspaper groupie not because of the articles or the brand, but because of the feel of the pages when I hold them, and the ritual of sitting down with a cup of coffee or tea and immersing myself in the design, the labor of love that is publishing something like the Times or Vogue. If I were an author I'd be a combination of Joan Didion and Gabriel Garcia Marquez with a splash of Vonnegut and none of their talent. El mundo habrá acabado de joderse el día en que los hombres viajen en primera clase y la literatura en el vagón de carga.Consumed by the little moments in life: I like raindrops on windows and feeling enveloped by warm summer breezes. Coffee shops that drip slowly as time should. Twinkles in skies and twinkles in eyes. I like being alone while in the thick of it all. I know I'm just a tiny speck in this world, but I love every morsel of it as my own.
