I have always enjoyed business and building relationships with people. Starting with a small town landscaping business, I was able to find success and invaluable entrepreneurial experience at a young age. After selling the business and graduating from Hillsdale College, I explored a leadership grooming opportunity with a large manufacturing company in Human Resources. After 17 months of developing HR skills and knowledge, I have realized that my potential and motivation was in need of a fast-paced, small business environment.

The Boston Startup School is a unique opportunity to integrate myself back into that entrepreneurial scene in the vibrant Boston community. I am looking forward to finding some great business ventures and people to build meaningful relationships and develop successful ideas in Bean Town.

In my free time, I enjoy living an active lifestyle. I am an avid tennis player, P90X2 Coach and Grad, spending time on the lake in Northern Michigan and, a recent development, have picked up competing in sprint triathlons. I also have a passion for traveling and seeing new places, the most recent was Rio de Janerio, Brazil.
