Mitch Kurker

I love the passion and team work that sports are focused around. I strongly believe that sports draw upon many experiences that you must deal with in life; such as working together and persevering through adversity. For this reason I have a strong desire to work in the sports industry, whether it be for a league or a specific team. I just love the feeling of being apart of something bigger than yourself and seeing the results of the contributions of several different people with various, specific roles.

I am from Billerica, MA, and naturally, am a die hard Boston sports fan. While attending UMass Amherst, I work for the Division I Men's Lacrosse program as their Team Administrator and Director of Operations. I help out with the day-to-day administrative aspects of the team, I organize team travel and meals for away trips, and finally, I manage all of the game film for scouting purposes. I LOVE MY JOB!
