16mm Mitchell

Available for disposal is this vintage Mitchell 16 mm newsreel camera complete with six transport cases of accessories. The package includes the very rare and original wooden tripod. A file of photographs of the accessories is available upon request. The camera has been hired as a 'prop' in recent years and can generate occasional income if needed. It was last used as a working camera in circa 2003 however given its age and vintage I would recommend it is given a full professional service before installing film again. It has been dry stored since I purchased it. It left service with the United States Marine Corps in the early 1960's and was bought by a private collector/film maker. I purchased it from an estate sale. The camera package is being sold to generate funds for an educational project.
