Mitchell Corlett
I spent the last 40 years of my life as a deck-hand on the good ship Immortal. Great crew, guys and gals from tons of places (and times). One night, they found out I was aging backwards instead. "We don't take kindly to your kind 'round here," said Captain Rob Lowe, and they threw me overboard.
I then became all the members of The Mitchfits, a 1-man street troubadour act. We did one Misfits cover, but it was never received well. We recently broke up, the bass drum was causing tension in the band (back problems).
Ok, enough jokes. I'm really an aspiring digital/social media strategist and web content writer. Current fascinations are with neuromarketing, content marketing, the spread of targeted niche marketing via social media, and geoducks. I'm especially interested in how stories work in the modern digital era -- I once wrote a narrative analysis of World of Warcraft.
Hate finding patterns in the noise of the Information Age? Looking for someone who can filter out all the crap and find the cool/funny/informative content? Look no further than this former fake deckhand/one-man band. I love living in the future -- the rate of technological development today is stunning. I'm figuring out how to be a creator/curator in this new paradigm.
I'm also enthusiastically engaged with all entertainment. Doubtful you'll last an entire conversation with me that won't allude to pop culture. Also, as an avid poet, alliterations: always allowed.
