I've been using the internet for a long time, and I like it.

I first used the internet when in Australia in 1998. Yep, that's a long time ago. Back then websites were simple and certinaly not Web 2.0.

Since that time I worked in IT support (boring), as a Windows software programmer (interesting, boring, financially rewarding, and a good stepping stone too...), a web programmer. The later is much more interesting to me. I love the interaction of thousands of annoymous visitors to the website. Whether offering free information or products to sell, website development is something that I like.

I have a particular interest in CMS systems, and allowing people and businesses to update their own websites.

I love the outdoors. I love surfing, cycling and being in the sun. I especially love travelling and have been to a lot of coutries on trips spanning several years. I don't like holidays as such. I'd rather go for 6 months rather than 2 weeks. I do live visiting European cities though.

I have spent quite a lot of time traveling in my various campervans, which is something I am passionate about.
