I came to the United States for college with little more than determination and a desire to understand the human mind. I worked my way through medical and graduate school—earning my master’s in neuroscience from Rutgers and completing medical training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Those years taught me resilience, focus, and the value of perseverance.
My residency at the Mayo Clinic shaped how I approach psychiatry—rooted in science, compassion, and curiosity. Later, at Yale University’s Child Study Center, I completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry and discovered how deeply environment and family influence mental health.
For more than two decades, I’ve practiced psychiatry across both academic and clinical settings. My philosophy is simple: healing starts by understanding the whole person—biological, psychological, and social. I collaborate with families, schools, and other physicians to build care that lasts.
Outside of work, I find balance in tennis, hiking, and time in nature.
