Pioneer DJ are well known for their DJ equipment and are now drawing on their rich heritage in speaker design and launching a new range of reference monitor speakers, the RM.

The RM Series are the latest offering of PIoneer DJ and features multiple inputs on the rear and a three-band EQ ensuring that the ultimate in simplicity and flexibility is achieved.

Developed by Pioneer’s pro audio TAD Labs division, both the RM-05 and RM-07 features a coaxial driver which has been designed to ensure audio from the tweeter and woofer emanates from the same point for a more accurate sound.

Designed for the professional music producer the RM range of studio monitors offers two models in the range, the RM-05 and RM-07 both delivering a high SPL and neutral sound with clear separation across the frequency spectrum.

With aramid fibre woofers and a front-loaded bass reflex system with grooved ducts both the RM05 and RM07 offer a rich clean bass, while the aluminium hard domed tweeter ensures high frequencies of up to 50 kHz.

Pioneer have also stepped up the mark in build quality and have designed the RM series of monitors in rigid die-cast aluminium cabinets with curved contours to eliminate resonance, and acoustic tube to reduce standing waves and maintain the element of the low to mid ranges.

The RM series of monitors won't necessarily break the bank, meaning you probably won't need to finance your purchase. With the RM-05 starting at £399 you will find these in most stores this June.
