I am a visual artist working mainly with maps and books, reworking them into contemplative artworks, often large-scale collages. Layers of time and space navigated with paper and thread... They work well in large corporate spaces such as foyers and meeting rooms and also in home spaces such as stairwells or places to relax.
I also work as a consultant on projects which have a public engagement aspect, helping people connect with contemporary issues through artworks and ideas. I've worked with councils, museums, arts centres and galleries to deliver talks, workshops and interactive projects. I'm currently working with researchers at the University of Southampton to deliver workshops and an exhibition for a new medieval heritage trail in South Wales. (Opening at Hereford Cathedral in July 2018).
As a creative coach, I run workshops in the New Forest and retreats in Italy (with the fab photographer and painter Michael Eldridge) to help people connect with their own creativity = TheTangoOfCreativity.com
