Greetings, I’m Miyah. I’m a student living in Durham, North Carolina. I am a fan of design, food, and entrepreneurship. I’m also interested in education and dance. I am from Dallas, Texas. I moved the summer going to my 7th grade year with my father. I enjoy living in North Carolina. It is a lot smaller which has it's ups and downs. I am majoring in Family and Consumer Science. My concentration is Apparel Design. I was a bit confused as to what I wanted to do my freshman year, but over the summer I did some thinking and eventually figured it out. I enjoy dancing and singing as well. I love music. I believe music helps people in situations that conversations with other people can not. I am happy to be able to know where my life is headed. Knowing I will have the chance to get my associates and bachelors degree. Being able to know that I will have a future doing something I like to do is an amazing feeling. I hope this speech class goes by swiftly and I have a great time with it.
