miyah shaw

Miyah Shaw is an ambitious 21 year old young woman who attends North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. Miyah Has five sister and comes from a very religous home. Miyah graduated from Northern High of Durham, NC in 2011. Her senior year she received a scholarship to play for a small school by the name of Chowan University. After a year of injuries she decided to disregard her scholarship and return to her hometown of Durham, NC and attend NCCU. She has stated that it was the best decision she has made for her education thus far, and she wouldn't have done it any other way. Miyah has always had an interest in becoming a lawyer one day, so she decided to major in Political science. Miyah's main interest are black politics, the history of politics in America, and the progress African Americans have made over the years. Miyah has no doubt that she will become a lawyer, and she strives everyday to achieve this goal. Miyah Shaw's life motive has always been "it's not where you start, but where you finish".
