Mj Grothoff resides in O’Fallon, Mo where he lives with his beautiful wife, wonderful children and their “to-smart-for-his-own-good” lab Strider (yes Strider as in Lord of the Rings; we are this nerdy). He started writing short stories at a young age on a blue and gray typewriter (Yes he said TYPEWRITER) for his D&D group (he was rejecting the ladies OR were they rejecting him....oh the memories) and he loved creating these imaginary places for his friends. He continued this trend through his many years in the United States Navy where it allowed the time to pass out at sea or when located in foreign lands. It served him well many days.

Over the past six years, he built a Fantasy world where his imagination inked itself into two of these novels EverWing and Vanished; part of “The Saga of EverWing” series. He is currently working the third. This adventure has also led into a Creative Writer role for a Gaming Studio where his ideas were taken and placed into an XBOX and PC game. It was an unexpected joy. Mj Grothoff is always in search for a new challenge and willing to push his writing onto a blank sheet. Happy Writing!
