Producer of conscious content. About Me-
I’ve been lucky. Born in the westside of New York City when it was tough, with two young entertainers not quite ready for picket fences and kittens. They provided me with a dresser drawer for my first bed in a theatrical rooming house filled with Jackie Gleason’s minions. Dad was an actor/comedian and mom was a dancer, but for dough she worked for mid-level likely mafia cat who told her he was a brickwork contractor. Umhmm. Soon thereafter we piled into the old 1955 Thunderbird and moved to Hollywood. Having a comedian-father was, uh, fun…
One would think that growing up in L.A. with an old school producer/director/attorney grandfather would have granted me into the inside tribes. Like a sweetheart deal with Jack Warner or mail room gig at Warners even. But noooo. I was to scrape and claw my way as a hack actor, but non-waiter, in L.A. Typical priorities of surf, ski, girls, football, dirt-bikes, girls, parties and girls kept me distracted from a serious acting plunge. High school was over and the parties got better when I was suddenly slammed by a death-inducing life event. One of the largest wildfires in So-Cal’s history was scorching any house or mountain in its one hundred mile path. The fire crept up the back of the San Gabriel mountains and backlit miles and miles and miles of a burning inferno. A turbo-charged, wind-fire bridge ignited the hillside behind our pad and rushed up to the house in seconds. Firefighters, neighbors, me and a helicopter did what we could to keep our home from catching. Once this first action of defense was successful, I was told by a pitch-axe wielding ranger to go back down the hill and chop up burning or glowing timbers.
Well, that was the last thing I did as a horny teenager with sports, sex, rock and roll consuming my consciousness. The next events are inexplicable. Fire reared up again with 60 mph winds and again lit up the hillsides. I watched this from the inside of this inferno. All became extremely calm and quiet from within this firestorm. Cool, peaceful… in fact it was a state of all knowing... Love. An Awakening. The world as I knew it, the laws of physics, time and space all dissolved from the life altering, mind bending awakening. I was one with perfection, love, energy, God...
